DONALD RAY UNDERWOOD, 49, of Lavalette, husband of Kathy Capron Underwood, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Emogene Dolin-Jones Hospice House in Huntington. He was born on August 30, 1962 in Ashland, KY, a son of Guy and Ruth Ann Davis Underwood, who survive. In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by a son, Aaron (Jennifer) Farley of Lvavlette; a daughter, Katelyn Underwood of Lavalette; a brother, Jerry (Rachael) Underwood of Georgetown, OH; sisters Tammy (Tim) Molton of Berea, KY and Julie (Rob) Jenks of New Lexington, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 5:00 PM at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with Pastor Tim Molton officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until time of service at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Emogene Dolin-Jones Hospice House in Huntington.
