Donald Eugene Reed

Donald Eugene Reed 74 of Proctorville, OH formerly of Huntington, WV went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday November 17, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Mark Salyers officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. He was born May 19, 1939 the son of the late Samuel and Nellie Reed. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Pete Reed and a half-sister Midge Brayson. He was a retired chef from Rebels and Redcoats. He was a member of Madison Avenue Church of God and was an Air Force Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Ross Reed, a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Dee Reed of Proctorville, a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Chris Hardwick of Huntington, two grandchildren, Madison and Mason Reed and a host of nieces and nephews.
