Dolly Lou Doss

DOLLY LOU DOSS, 70, of Huntington passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at her residence. She was born on April 2, 1941 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Alva and Bernice Gillespie Doss. She was a retired loan administrator for 20th Street Bank, a member of the Guyandotte Improvement Society and a member and secretary at the Guyandotte Methodist Church. She is survived by two brothers, Oval (Beulah) Doss of Proctorville, OH and Wayne (Dreama) Doss of Huntington; nieces, Cheryl (Tim) Conzett, Karen (Jerry) Lacy and Sherry (Hank) Smythia; nephew, Michael (Beth) Doss; four great nieces and four great nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Julia Bowling and Pastor Michael Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery; Mason Co. Friends may call one hour before the service at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Guyandotte Methodist Church in Dolly's honor.
