Diana Virginia Bellomy

DIANA VIRGINIA BELLOMY, 89, of Huntington, widow of James A. Bellomy, passed away on January 1, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on April 15, 1921 in Kingston, WV, a daughter of the late John and Nona Lee Johnson Baker. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by brothers Ruford Baker and Ted Baker; sisters, Ruth Harshbarger, Ruby Adkins and Mary Benson; and daughter-in-law Norma Bellomy. She is survived by sons, Greg Bellomy of Erlanger, KY and Rodney (Melinda) Bellomy of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Christopher Bellomy, Ryan (Beverly) Bellomy and Andrea Bellomy; great- grandchildren, Johnathan, Brianna and Madison; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bellomy was a member of Faith United Methodist Church (now Community of Grace United Methodist). Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Bill DeMoss officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call one hour before the service at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Community of Grace United Methodist Church in Diana's honor.
