David Allen Parsons

David Allen Parsons, Sr., 50 of Huntington, WV passed away on Monday November 4, 2013 after a battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Richard Sexton officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. David was a 1981 graduate of Huntington East High School. He worked as a welder for Wilson Welding and prior to that he was a draftsman at Commercial Fabricating. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert O'Dell Parsons, Jr. and Janet Frampton Parsons; sister Patricia Ann Parsons-Mills; and his son, David Allen Parsons, II. He is survived by two brothers, Herbert O'Dell Parsons, III and Robert Dale Parsons, a daughter, Christina Marie Carpenter; a grandson, Nathan Carpenter and ex-wives, Susan Newman Hall and Charlotte Jude Fielder. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Emogene Dolin Hospice House, where David spent his final days.
