Danny Dale Barbour, 80 of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born February 14, 1946 in Huntington to the late Arnett and Ethel Barbour.

Dale married Sandra Kaye Ellis in 1970, spending 51 years together before her passing in 2021. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army as a Med Corpsman. He was a graduate of Marshall University and retired from Ashland Oil. Danny was a RC Aviation enthusiast.

In addition to his parents and wife, Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Barbour and brother-in-law, Charles David Ellis. He is survived by his son, Daniel (Autumn) Barbour of Sneads Ferry, NC; sister-in-law, Linda Louise Ellis; grandson, Jackson Bishop; nieces and nephews, Chris (Lisa May) Ellis, Jennifer (Shawn) Busson and Julie Ellis, and great-nieces and nephews, Lauren and Matthew Ellis and Connor and Reilley Busson.
