Daniel Gene Perry

Daniel Gene Perry, 75, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, Ashland, KY.  He was born October 11, 1940 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Walker W. and Sara E. Perry.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Clara Ellen Nelson.  Mr. Perry is survived by his loving wife, Mary Perry; two daughters, Amanda Perry Dailey and her husband, Steve of Proctorville, OH and Frances Perry Williamson of Chesapeake, OH; one son, Daniel Gene Black of Huntington; two granddaughters, Amber (Mason) Pinkerman and Sara (Johnathan) Bellomy; two brothers, John "Eddie" Perry and his wife, Lorna "Cookie" of Barboursville and David Perry and his wife, Barbara of Jacksonville, FL; and special friends, Bill Moore, Dave Goodall and Dale Manns.  Danny enjoyed the outdoors on his Gator with his wife and his dog, Susie.  He worked for several insurance companies, most recently AHS and loved his customers.  He also had the company, Mr. Fixzit Man of Chesapeake, OH.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Beard Mortuary.  Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 11 at Beard Mortuary with the Rev. Larry Bailey officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.
