Dana E. Coleman, 51, of Huntington, passed away on March 31, 2016 at his residence. Born August 13, 1964 in Huntington, he was a son of the late Hershel Ray Coleman and Margaret Ann Chapman. Dana was a self-proclaimed curmudgeon on the outside, but a big softy on the inside. He loved fishing, reading, and telling ornery jokes. He is survived by his brothers, James R. Coleman of VA and Philip E. Coleman of OH; his lifelong friend and fishing buddy, Greg (Stephanie) Benson of Huntington; his special cousin, Debbie Ball of Milton; his adored nieces and nephews, Heather (Glen) Adkins, Kara (Corey) Bruning, Meaghan Coleman, Seth (Stephanie) Coleman and Matthew Coleman; and numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Beard Mortuary in Huntington, with Carlos Ball, officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville.
