Clive Ferguson "Papaw", 88, of Proctorville, OH, formerly of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2007 at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV. He was born August 19, 1918 in Hubball, WV, a son of the late Elijah and Sibyl Ferguson. He was also preceded in death y his wife, Arna Mae Ferguson an infant son and one brother, Earl Ferguson. As a young adult, Clive was in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He later served in the US Army during World War II, he then served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member and Past Master of the Masonic Lodge #53 AF & AM, Scottish rite and Shriners. He was also a life member of the VFW #1064 and Eastern Star #89. He is survived by two daughters, Judy Perry and her husband, Jim of Proctorville, OH and Tammy Miller; very special granddaughter who was also his caregiver, Kelli Bennett and her husband, Jeff; one grandson, Jimmy Perry and his wife, Tammy; four great granddaughters, Mallori Walker, Whitni Walker, Jaymi Bennett and Bridgett Perry; and a stepsister, Marie Abersole of CA. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at Beard Mortuary.
