CLINTON EARL WILSON SR., 81, of Huntington, husband of Wanda Harless Wilson, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born on March 29, 1929 in Huntington, a son of the late Fate and Goldie Davis Wilson. In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Clinton E. "C.E." Wilson Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Huntington; two grandchildren, Lindsay Taylor and her husband Jarrod of University City, MO and Clint Wilson III of Huntington; one great grandchild, J.S. Spencer Taylor; four sisters-in-law, Henrietta Cool and Virginia (Cletus)Tigner of Naples, FL, Geraldean (Chet) Harris of Lakeland, FL, and Audra Harless of Hilliard, OH. Mr. Wilson was retired from Inco with 35 years of Service. He was a member of the Church in the Valley of Milton, the Mountaineer Gun Club and the National Rifle Association. He was also a 32° Mason with the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, S.J. Valley of Huntington Orient of West Virginia, the Huntington Commandery No. 9, the Western Star Lodge No. 11 of Guyandotte, and the R.A.M. Guyandotte No. 10. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Dr. Stan Maynard officiating and Pastor Andy Conner assisting. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Friends may call on Saturday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in Clinton's honor to Christ Community Church, 1101 12th St, Huntington or the Church in the Valley, Milton.
