Christina A. Federer

Christina A. Federer 82 of Huntington, WV passed away on Saturday January 3, 2015 at The Village at Riverview. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Hubert Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. She was born December 29, 1932 in Cedar Grove, WV the daughter of the late John G. and Ada Virginia Compton Federer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Elma Ellis. She retired with over 50 years of service with the West Virginia Division of Veteran Affairs, Huntington. She was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church and the former Beverly Hills Woman's Club.  She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, David and Elsa Federer of Norcross, GA; two nieces, Cheryl Kerns and Michelle Federer; nephews, David Ellis and Michael Federer and a very special friend for many years, Connie Mays of Huntington. The family will receive friends on Thursday after 10:00 a.m. at Beard Mortuary.
