Christie Dawn Evans-Nuce, 39 of Macungie, PA, formerly from Huntington, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11:00am at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Ron Burnsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. Christie was born on February 3, 1973, daughter of Henry Evans of Huntington, WV and the late Mary Adkins Evans. Christie graduated from Marshall University, and was actively involved in Shoemaker Elementary PTO. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Nuce; one son Samuel Nuce; very close friend, Ruby Freeman; and one niece Alyssa Rose Freeman; one sister, Francis Call; three brothers, Charles Evans, Mickey Call, and Paul Call; Friends may call from 6pm – 8pm on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Beard Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christie Evans-Nuce Memorial Fund, for the raising and education of Christie's son, Samuel.
