Chris Edward Johnson 49, of Proctorville, OH, died Wednesday August 17, 2011 at home. Masonic services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Park, Miller, OH with Rev. Jerry Galloway officiating. He was born May 31, 1962 in Huntington, WV the son of Harold E. Johnson of Crown City, OH and the late Verna Jo Hanshaw Johnson. He was a Sales and Product Manager for Logan Corporation, Huntington, WV. He was a graduate of Chesapeake High School. Chris was a member of the Ohio Valley Lodge #536 F. & A.M., Crown City, OH, member of the Valley of Huntington, 32nd Degree Mason and Scottish Rite. In addition to his father he is survived by a son, Andrew Johnson of Proctorville, OH.; a brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Teresa Johnson of Proctorville, OH; two aunts, Connie (Don) Ransbottom of Huntington, and Kaye (Frank) Norton of Sarasota, FL; a special friend and companion, Terry Chapman of Proctorville, a longtime friend, Darren Baker of Scottown, OH; and a host of cousins, friends, co-workers and special neighbors.
