Mr. Charles A. Scarberry

Charles Aubrey Scarberry, 79 of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 9, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Leonard May officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV.  He was born November 6, 1930 in Glenwood, WV a son of the late Charlie and Alma Pauline Brumfield Scarberry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelby Keffer in 2007 and a son-in-law Rick Rakes in 2008.  He was a retired truck driver for McCorkle Machine & Engineering and was a member of 26th Street Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Norma Jean Roberts Scarberry; a daughter, Meredith Lynn Rakes of South Point, OH; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Pam Scarberry of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Nicole (Kevin) Wilson of Huntington; Tracie (Orin) Runyon of South Point; Aubrey (Brandon) Renteria of San Antonio, TX ; Michael Scarberry of Houston; Kristie Hainer of  Logan, WV; John (Amy) Keffer of Mann, WV and Todd (Kim) Keffer of  Mann. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Kaleb Wilson, Dawson and Tanner Runyon, Aubrey and Ethan Renteria, Allison and Seth Hainer, Mallory and John Thomas Keffer and Sydney and Madison Keffer.
