Charles E. Price of Lexington, KY passed away on Monday July 16, 2007 at Hospice Care Center, Lexington after a valiant fight against cancer.  Funeral services will be held at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, WV, on Wednesday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Keith Leap officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1:00 PM.   Charles was born April 12, 1930 in Huntington, WV a son of the late James W. and Estelle Pemberton Price. He served in the Navy during the Korean War, he was a graduate of Marshall College (University), a University of Kentucky Fellow and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of Highlawn United Methodist Church for many years and was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church while a residing in Lexington. Charles was also a member of the Alti, Kiss and Romeo Club and was an active member and participant of the YMCA in Huntington and Lexington.  He was a retired Real Estate Developer and after his retirement was a world traveler.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Price and Joann Price Moon. He is survived by his wife Dolores Jean Price of Lexington; four daughters, Donna Price Wilson of Columbus, OH; Jane E. Price of Lexington, KY; Carrie Price Cox and husband, Patrick of Lexington, KY and Connie Rencsok and husband, Dave of Washington, NC; grandchildren, Stewart Smith, Katherine Smith, Spenser Wilson, Cara (Andy) Singleton, Cristen (Frederick) Switzer, Alexandra Price and Jessica Cox; a great grandson, Charles Henry Karbler; he is also survived by three brothers, James L. Price of Iowa City, Iowa; Roy W. (Barbara) Price of Atlanta, GA and William H. Price of Ft. Myers, FL; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
