Cathy Lee Smith Goodwin

Cathy Lee Smith Goodwin, 62, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away on December 31, 2016 at her residence. Born on October 5, 1954 in Logan, WV, she was a daughter of Vivian Lee Stone Smith and the late Charles Edward Smith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Austin Goodwin; infant daughter, Michelle Goodwin and her brother, Eddie Smith. Cathy was a retired R.N. and a faithful member of the Highlawn Presbyterian Church in Huntington where she taught Sunday school for over 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting Nag's Head, her favorite vacation spot. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, Grant Goodwin, of Proctorville, OH; her daughter, Adrienne Goodwin of Proctorville, OH; special niece, Courtney (Brian) Adkins of South Charleston, WV and their children, Charlie, Wil, Kate and Phoebe Adkins. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Highlawn Presbyterian Church in Huntington, with Pastor Rick Wilson, officiating
