Carolyn Louise Lane

Carolyn L. Lane, 89, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007 in Hospice House of Huntington.  Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2007 at Union Cemetery in Columbus, OH.  She was born January 25, 1918 in Columbus, OH, a daughter of the late Walter W. and Bernice Kadel.  Carolyn will be remembered for her quick wit and her love of needlework and how she shared her works with everyone.  She is survived by two nieces, Sunny Bender of Phoenix, AZ and Beverly Attkisson of Brownsburg, IN; five great nieces, Pam Podd of Paradise Valley, AZ, Tara Evans of Phoenix, AZ, Debbie Berkeley, Brenda Maddey and Tina Adkins, all of Columbus, OH five great nephews, Greg, Kevin and Matt Bender of Phoenix, AZ and Bobby and Buddy Williams of Columbus, OH; three granddaughters, Clarise Olive, Melody Baker and Patricia Craig; three cousins, Robert Moone of Reynoldsburg, OH, Bill Moone of Columbus, OH and Jack Moone of Overgaard, AZ; five great grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many loving friends.    Beard Mortuary, Huntington, WV is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
