Carol Ann Bartram

Carol Ann Bartram, 80, of Huntington, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at River's Bend Health Care in South Point, OH. Born on August 12, 1937 in Cincinnati, OH, she was a daughter of the late Carl Adler and Betty Jane Adler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Meredith "Mert" Bartram and her sister, Judy Kulow. Carol was a longtime faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Huntington where she and her husband were active Sunday school and Youth group leaders. She was the former owner of Cross Stitch Corner in Huntington and was a member of the Huntington Jr. Women's Club. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was very active in her children and grandchildren's lives. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.  She is survived by her children, Robert "Bob" Bartram of Morgantown, Barbie (Toby) Barnhart of Lavalette, and Kathy Bartram of Huntington; siblings, Nanette Strawn of Wilmington, NC, Linda (Jim) Moore of Auburn, GA, and Mike Adler of Atlanta, GA; grand-children , Matthew Barnhart, Jonathan (Sallie) Bartram, Candace (Noah) Protzman, Meagan Barnhart and Michelle (Ben) Wilkinson; great-grandchildren, Noah Protzman III and Camden Protzman, and Bear Tyler Barnhart. The family will welcome friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, January 29th at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the funeral home with her son, Rev. Dr. Bob Bartram, officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville.
