Carlos D. Crawford

Carlos D. Crawford, 69, of Huntington passed away Thursday, January 3, 2008 in St. Mary's Medical Center.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with the Rev. James Jobe officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenbottom Cemetery.  He was born November 16, 1938, a son of the late Clyde and Cecil Ash Crawford.  He was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.  He is survived by his wife, Ruth Crawford; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Carlene and Fred Wilson, Darlene Cregut, Aletha Whitmore and Teresa and Rocky Payne; three sons, Dwayne Cregut, John Whitmore and Clyde Crawford, all of Huntington; one brother, Jerry Crawford; three sisters, Sheila Varney, Sue Knight and Jean Clark; best friend, Larry Holley and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the mortuary.
