Carl A. Corns

Carl A. Corns, 67, of Huntington, was called to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the VA Medical Center, Huntington.  Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2008 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with burial to follow.  He was born September 12, 1940 in Huntington, a son of the late William and Phyllis Basenback Corns.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, William Corns and one sister, Phyllis Ann Bias.  Mr. Corns was a retired roofer and a veteran of the US Army.  He is survived by one brother, Larry Corns of Huntington and a host of family and friends.  Friends may call from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the mausoleum at White Chapel.  Beard Mortuary, Huntington is in charge of arrangements.
