C. Harold Dial

Loving husband, father, and grandfather, C. Harold Dial, 81, of Huntington, passed away Friday, January 09, 2009 in St. Mary's Medical Center.  Funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 12, 2009 at Beverly Hills United Methodist Church with Rev. Gordon T. Humphreys officiating.  Entombment will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington.  He was born March 10, 1927, in Huntington, WV a son of the late William and Grace M. Trainer Dial.  He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Letha Shultz and Evelyn Maring; his brother, Luther Dial.  He owned and operated Dial Construction Company until his retirement, specializing in local church and school projects.  He was a member of Beverly Hills United Methodist Church, a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of Kiwanis.  He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline W. Dial; his children, Neil E. (Barbara) Dial of Huntington, Dennis B. Dial of Myrtle Beach, SC, Terrie Lea (Donald) Weekly of Huntington, and B. Wayne Dial of Huntington; grandchildren, Wes White, Adam Brooks, Jessica Dial, Emerson Dial, Debbie (Carter) Jarrell; great grandchildren, Jacob and Conner Jarrell, Rylan and Quincy Orwig; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Sunday, January 10, 2009 at Beard Mortuary.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.beardmortuary.com.
