BOSHER H. PAUL, 97, of Huntington, widower of Freda (Noble) Paul, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin-Jones Hospice House in Huntington. He was born on February 6, 1916 in Chesapeake, OH, a son of the late William and Hattie Belle (Lauderman) Paul. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Genevieve Paul. He is survived by his daughter, Wanda Paul Cummings of Huntington; grandson, Kelly Cummings; great-granddaughter, Madison Cummings; and Cousins Dee Cook and Carla Sue Justice. Mr. Paul retired from C&O Railroad in 1977 as Executive Secretary. He was a licensed Realtor and Real Estate Agent, a member of New Baptist Church, Western Star Lodge No. 11, AM & FM, Huntington Calligraphers Guild, and a life member of VFW Post 1064. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran in WWII, serving in the South Pacific as a Yeoman First Class Petty Officer. During the 1940's and 50's he was a nationally known square dance caller and a caller at the International Square Dance Festival in Chicago, IL. He and his wife were founders of the Paw Taw square Dance Club in this area which is still active today. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the 2nd floor staff at The Woodlands, to Drs. Pinson, Davis, and McCormick, and to the staff of Hospice.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Trent Eastman officiating. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held two hours before the service at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Huntington in Mr. Paul's honor.
