Dr Bonnie Lee Dean

Professor Bonnie Lee Dean, Ph.D., passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 23, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary. Dr. Dean taught at West Virginia State University in the Department of Biology for 35 years. She earned her Bachelor's of Science at Morris Harvey College (now University of Charleston), her Master of Science at Marshall University and her Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh. She is survived by her daughter, Professor Rebecca Dean of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, her sister Mrs. Kay Dolan and husband Mr. Joe Dolan of Spring Hill, Florida, and her cat Annie. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Friday.
