Bobbie Rae Morris

Bobbie Rae Morris, 82, of Huntington passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008 in Woodland Oaks Nursing Home, Ashland, KY.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Beard Mortuary with the Rev. Mike Ducheneau officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.  She was born October 10, 1925 in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Perry C. and Emily Jane Hume Smith.  She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Whitman and one brother, William E. Smith.  Mrs. Morris was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church.  She worked as a Chemist for Allied Chemical in South Point, OH for a number of years, then as a Postal Clerk for the US Postal Service in Huntington.  She also was a volunteer member for the Huntington Postal Credit Union.  She is survived by one son, James F. Preston of Martinsburg, WV; two brothers, Robert Lee Smith of Argillitte, KY and Perry C. Smith, Jr. of Williamstown, WV; two sisters, Herthia Rizzuto of Mettarie, LA and Maude Ellen Frame of Ashland, KY; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
