Beverly Jean Roberts

Beverly Jean Roberts, 78, of Huntington, went to take her call as an angel in Heaven on March 23, 2016. She was a loving mother with an incredible sense of humor and her smile and laughter could fill a room with brightness. She loved to read and as an avid reader, read thousands of books. Beverly was also a seamstress and created costumes for Altizer Elementary School plays over the years. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James T. Roberts Sr.; two daughters, Deena Eldridge and Kim Nisky; two sons, James T. Roberts Jr. and Mitchell Roberts Sr.; three granddaughters, Mindy Manley, Bethany Anderson, Krishna Wright and two grandsons, Drew Wright and Christopher Roberts. Funeral services for Beverly will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
