Betty Jo Griffith

March 18, 1930 — November 15, 2008

Betty Jo Griffith 78 died peacefully in the arms of her Lord on Nov 15 2008 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She is preceded in death by her first husband Glen Rader, her second husband Thomas Griffith, sister Norma Keefer and her son Timothy Rader. Betty is survived by her children Ronald Rader and his wife Anita, Beth Louden and her husband Joe, and Shawn Griffith and his wife Rosanne, grandchildren Ryan and Page Louden, and great grandchildren Malachi and McKenna. She also leaves behind sisters Joyce and FreddieTanner and Patsy and Bill Fielding and brothers Butch, Oakey,  and Jerry Gray. She will be dearly missed by her family including many nieces and nephews, close friends Jim Wentz, Joe Keefer, Eleanor Fenney, Eleanor Shaw and many others. Betty was a Deaconess in her church and loved singing in the choir. She was a life long hair dresser and a teacher's aide for Cabell County Schools.  Visitation will be Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Beard Mortuary. Services will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Highlawn Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Franklin and Mat McKenzine officiating. Memorials can be sent to Highlawn Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.beardmortuary.com.
