Betty Barbour

Betty Lee Barbour, 84 of Kenova, WV, member of the Kenova Church of God left this world on Saturday Nov. 16, 2013 bound for Heaven. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodmere Memorial Park Abbey of Remembrance with Rev. J.  Rayburn Haddock officiating. Entombment will follow. She was born May 31, 1929 the daughter of the late Robert Clyde and Hester Ann Bledsoe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Junior Barbour. Betty loved to talk and worked 39 years in Huntington and Cincinnati as a telephone operator before retiring from Cincinnati Bell.  She is survived by her sister Margaret Nelson, sons, Tim, Dan and Phil Barbour and grandchildren, Matt and Laura. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 pm. at Beard Mortuary.
