Bernadette Delilah Winig

Bernadette Delilah Winig, 74 of Huntington, WV passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Emogene Dolin Hospice House. She was born September 3, 1950, the daughter of the late Albert and Edna Winig. She was also preceded by two sisters, Patricia and Katherine.

Bunny resided in Hawaii for many years and while a resident she made homemade coconut candy, a process that took many weeks to make and sold to retail stores. After a 20 plus years relationship she married Wilford Poston several weeks before her passing. Wilford will always be grateful to Rev. Dr. Dennis Morrello for conducting their wedding vows at her bedside.

She is survived by two children, Andy McCoy of Maui and Sandra "Sandy" Martin of Haines, Alaska; her grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, and Ciera McCoy, Abbey, Rosemary, Maggie, Macey, and Ruby Martin and two great-grandchildren. Services will be private for the family.
