Barbara Emily Brandenburg

BARBARA EMILY BRANDENBURG, 84, of Huntington, wife of John Pat Brandenburg, passed away of Friday, December 4, 2015. She was born on June 9, 1931 in Springfield, MA, a daughter of the late Charles SR. and Emily (Broderick) Martin. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, J.P. (Gina) Brandenburg of Atlanta, GA, Mary Barbara Myers of Birmingham, AL, and Charles William (Donna) Brandenburg of Birmingham, AL; a brother, Charles (Evelyn) Martin Jr. of Richmond, VA; a sister, Sally Jane (Sidney) Sperberg of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Kim Maxson Bailey, Jennifer Lian Brandenburg, Andrew James Brandenburg, Douglas Brandenburg, Chase Brandenburg, Aleesha Myers, and Kristen Myers Barela; and a great-grandchild, Austin Barela. Mrs. Brandenburg was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, and was retired from the C&O Railroad Credit Union. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the care provided by Hospice of Huntington. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Rev. Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may arrive at the church at 9:30 AM. A Rosary service will be conducted by the Catholic Daughters at 9:45 AM.
