Anna Mae Vickers

ANNA MAE VICKERS, 80, of Huntington, widow of Thomas Jackson Vickers, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at her home. She was born on November 24, 1931 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Sydney and Mable Lucas. In addition to her husband of 61 years and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, several brother and sister in-laws, and many other family members. She is survived by a daughter, Vicki Lund-Jones of Huntington; grandson, L.J. Jones III; nieces, Linda (Tom) Rahn, Connie Yates; and nephew, TJ Wernham. Mrs. Vickers was retired from St. Mary's Medical Center where she worked as a physical therapy assistant. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Greg Creasy officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.
