Mrs. Anna Bell Tackett

Early in the morning of Sunday, October 3, 2010, an angel ascended into heaven to be with our Lord.  Anna Bell Tackett, 82, of Huntington, is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lester M. Tackett, who was truly the love of her life; her daughter, Laddonia Blevins, who was her world; her granddaughter, Jaymie Renee Blevins  (fiance Jason Fielder), who was her doll baby; and her great granddaughter, Kathlyn "Katie" Scarlett Meek, who was her loving doll.  She also leaves behind her favorite nephew, Kevin McCloud; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Jessica Painter Abbas, whom she considered almost a granddaughter. Anna Bell was born April 3, 1928, in Huntington, WV, daughter of the late Clayburn Clinton Manning and Maggie Mae Gallaher Manning.  Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Rosa Lee McCloud, Mary Brumfield, and Elizabeth Fudge, and her brothers Maxell Manning, Albert Manning, and William Manning. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.
