Anna Lee Adkins

Anna Lee Adkins, 84, formerly of Huntington, WV, most recently residing at the King's Daughters and Sons Home for the Aged, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011 at King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with the Rev. C.J. Adkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.  She was born August 30, 1926 in McVeigh, KY, a daughter of the late J.D. and Bertha Hatfield Hardy.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Millard J. "Jim" Adkins; two brothers and nine sisters.  Mrs. Adkins was a buyer for The Smart Shop in Huntington for over 30 years.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jim Fultz of Flatwoods, KY; three grandsons, Jeff (Sherri) Fultz of Parris Island, SC, John (Debbie) Fultz of Raceland, KY and Jeremy (Michelle) Fultz of Lexington, KY; seven great grandchildren, John D., Bennett, Andrew, Anna Leigh, Rebecca, Alexis and Hallie Fultz and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service Monday at Beard Mortuary.  Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington in Anna Lee's memory.  Online condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.beardmortuary.com
