Andrew Michael Winkler

Andrew Michael Winkler, 24 of Huntington, WV, Son, Brother, Friend, Uncle, Nephew,  died Tuesday June 16, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday at Beard Mortuary.  He was born September 1, 1984 a son of Kerry and Ellen Gates Winkler. Andy was the youngest of four sons, and brought joy and a listening ear to everyone in his life. He loved to camp and disc golf but his greatest gift to all was his ability to make everyone in his life smile and be happy.  A Business major at Marshall University, Andy was one semester from graduating with a B.A. degree. He had recently focused on his studies and long term plans as he began a full-time internship at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in the Business office. Andy was the loving fiancé of Leanne Dingess. Andy was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Ellen Gates; paternal grandfather, William Winkler; and beloved friends Adam Ballard, Jason Hensley, Jason Marsh and Stephanie Dyer. In addition to his parents, Kerry and Ellen Winkler; he is survived by his brothers, Timothy (Jennifer) Aylor, William Winkler, J.T. Winkler; grandmother, Vera Winkler, two nieces, Reagan and Katelyn Aylor and a special little girl, EmmaLayne Claire Tidd, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone whose life he touched. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Beard Mortuary.
