ANDREW GULACSI, JR., 82, of Huntington, widower of Nadine Toppins Gulacsi, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Heartland of Riverview in South Point, Ohio. He was born on September 6, 1928 in Huntington, a son of the late Andrew Sr. and Roze Tividor Gulacsi. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Parker, Mary Bradshaw and Anna Summers; sister-in-law, Sherlene Kilgore; brother-in-law, George Lauterbach. He is survived by two sisters, Julia (Leo) Lake, Rosie Lauterbach, sisters-in-laws, Dorothy Bentley, Darlene Wilson and Leatta (Terry) Collins; brothers-in-laws, Glenn (Ruth Ann) Toppins, Tracy (Loretta) Toppins and Walter Summers; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Gulacsi was a veteran of the United States Army. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May, 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Ron Burnsworth officiating, eulogy by Leo G. Lake. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
