Alissa Nicole Cantrell

ALISSA NICOLE CANTRELL, 33, of Huntington, and infant daughter AUBREE JOY CANTRELL, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2013, in Louisville, Ky. Alissa was born on June 15, 1979, in Charleston, W.Va., and grew up in St. Albans, W.Va. She is the daughter of Arthur Shamblin and Melody Taylor. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Bryan Michael Cantrell; daughter, Adalyn Grace; son, Bryson James; brother, Blake (Ashley) Shamblin; stepmother, Pam Shamblin; grandmother, Mary Campbell; and a host of family, aunts, cousins, nephews, in-laws and friends. Alissa lived her life with the passionate desire to share the love of Jesus Christ with everyone she knew. Her legacy of faith lives on through her family and the countless lives she has touched with her pretty sunny days. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 1 p.m. at New Baptist Church in Huntington with Pastor Trent Eastman officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the church. Beard Mortuary is assisting the family.
