Adrienne Lee Goodwin, 32 of Proctorville, O.H., passed away June 17, 2024. She was born October 9, 1991 in Huntington, W.V. to Grant and Cathy Goodwin.

At a young age she developed a love for theatre and acted in various youth productions. Adrienne graduated from Fairland High School in 2010 with honors where she was the female lead, Audrey, in Little Shop of Horrors.  She continued her career/love of theatre at Marshall University where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Fine Arts, was a member of Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society, acted in The Crucible and Dead Man's Cell Phone and was the lead actress in Proof (Catherine) which they also performed in Scotland.  Adrienne also had several production credits while there.

After college she worked for the Marshall Artist Series, which she loved doing. While there, she was the House Manager at the Keith Albee until she fell ill and lost her mobility.

Adrienne was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church in Huntington where she fostered her love of children by spending most every Sunday caring for children in the nursery until she was unable to do so.  She also loved reading comics and books, movies, music (especially that of her parents' generation) and going to concerts/live music, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Gilmore Girls, fall and all things pumpkin spice, cheesecake, her daily tea and her favorite, Alice in Wonderland.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cathy L. Goodwin; brother, Grant "Austin" Goodwin, II; infant sister, Michelle Goodwin; maternal grandparents, Charles and Vivian Smith and paternal grandparents, Fred and Della Goodwin.  Adrienne is survived by her father, Grant Goodwin; cousin/aunt, Courtney (Brian) Adkins and her special cousins, Charlie, Wil, Kate and Phoebe Adkins; uncle, Mark Goodwin; cousin, April Mathis Thomas; special family friends, Lisa Haddox-Heston and Mark Chappell, and her Skateland and Keith Albee families.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 2 PM at Highlawn Presbyterian Church. Please leave an online condolence for the family on her tribute wall.
