Robert Charles Cline, 69, of Huntington, WV, passed away at his home on Friday, February 17, 2017. He was born August 24, 1947, in Sistersville, WV, the son of the late Glenn B. Cline and Betty J. Cline. He was a graduate of Sistersville High School, and received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Marshall University.  He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.  As the owner of Highland Insurance for 40 years, his passion was serving his customers and the community.  He was preceded in death by his brother Terry G. Cline.  Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Jean M. Cline; son, Robert Garrett Cline and his family, Virginia, Mackenzie, 10, and Stryker, 6 of Cary, NC; daughter, Margot Connor and fiancé Peter Friz of Mt. Airy, MD; daughter, Erin White and her family, Mark, Connor, 16, and Matthew, 12 of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Patricia and Darrell Schiefer of Belpre, OH; niece, Heather Scott and her family of Parkersburg, WV; and nephew, David Will and his family of Washington, WV. Throughout his life, he loved and enjoyed the game of golf. Over the past few years he took great joy in showing his beloved Standard Schnauzers, Ellie and Hogan.  He loved his God, his country and his family.  A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Trinity Episcopal Church, in Huntington, WV, with Rev. Chip Graves officiating. There will be a reception following the service.  A family and friends’ visitation will also take place at the church at 12:30 PM.
